இஸ்ரவேலின் எல்லா ஜனங்களுக்கும் உயர்ந்தவனாக யோசுவாவை கர்த்தர் அந்த நாளில் மேன்மைப்படுத்தினார். அப்போதிலிருந்து ஜனங்கள் யோசுவாவை மதித்தனர். மோசேயை அவர்கள் மதித்தபடியே, யோசுவாவையும் அவன் வாழ்க்கை முழுவதும் ஜனங்கள் மதித்தனர்.
